Predicted Line Up

Sam Burgess, 13. Cameron Murray. Interchange: 14. Adam Doueihi, 15. Dean Britt, 16. Tevita Tatola, 17. Kurt Dillon
Key Player
Damien Cook – Cook had a remarkable 2018 season, and his performances were the key reason behind the Rabbitohs’ success. If the Bunnies are to be a top side again this season, Cook will need to replicate his 2018 form.
One to Watch
Cody Walker – With his dangerous running game, Cody Walker went to a different level under Seibold. What effect will Wayne Bennett have on the crafty #6’s game?
Rising Star
Corey Allan – The highly rated youngster is the first ever player to be picked for the Prime Minister’s XIII without having made his first grade debut. If he is picked as the Rabbitohs’ fullback this season, Allan could become a household name very soon.
Predicted Top Try Scorer
Alex Johnston (15)
Goal Kickers
1. Adam Reynolds, 2. Adam Doueihi, 3. Dane Gagai.
SuperCoach
The Guns
Damien Cook ($726,000 | HOK) – Many people think Wayne Bennett will stifle Cook’s game in 2019. However, Cook’s strength is his running game, so why would Bennett take that away from him? Even if Cook doesn’t run as much as he did last season, with a base of over 50 PPG, he will most likely still be the top scoring hooker in SuperCoach.
Sam Burgess ($560,000 | 2RF/FRF) – With the departure of Angus Crichton, Sam Burgess will most likely shift from lock to the right edge this season. Although his work rate may decrease with a move to the edge, he should become a regular 80 minute player. We're not saying he will match what Crichton did there, but scoring 50+ each week from the edge is definitely attainable for Burgess. He played one game there last season, and recorded 52 base points, with a total score of 56, so the shift shouldn't change his output too much.
The PODs
Cody Walker ($569,200 | 5/8) – Walker has averaged above 60 for three seasons running. If it becomes clear that his game hasn’t changed much under the new coach, he’s definitely an option given the Rabbitohs’ fixtures.
Greg Inglis ($469,000 | FLB/CTW) – With Inglis being touch and go to start the season, he's not SuperCoach relevant immediately. However, once he returns to full fitness, he's a definite option. Most likely playing fullback this season, GI has averaged nearly 60 PPG in his last 15 games at fullback. We now what a destructive player he is, and a shift to fullback could see Inglis return to his former glory.
The Cheapies
Corey Allan ($168,100 | FLB/CTW) – With 9 tries and 6 try assists in the QLD ISP last season, as well as 4 tackle breaks per game, Allan could very well score reasonable returns, and make solid cash at the same time. However, he needs to earn a starting spot first.
Braidon Burns ($286,000 | CTW) – if Allan doesn’t start, Braidon Burns most likely will. Burns averaged 14 evasive points per start last season, and scored as high as 40 in base points.
Avoid
Alex Johnston ($488,800) – When he's playing on the wing, Johnston is way too inconsistent to be SuperCoach relevant. Yes, he does score heaps of tries, but he has one of the lowest floors out of all players, scoring under 20 points (yes, 20!) in six out of his last 11 games wearing the #2.
