Seb's Rd 2 Captain Calls

TOP VC OPTIONS

Damien Cook | $726,000

- Averages 91 vs Dragons

- Dragons were disorganised in the middle last week - Cook could tear them to shreds

Michael Morgan | $409,200

- Brisbane vs NQ derbies are high scoring games

- Cowboys have scored 20+ points in each of their last 3 games @ Suncorp

- Morgan has a 4GA of 75 PPG vs Broncos, and a 2GA of 86 PPG @ Suncorp

Tevita Pangai | $495,000

- Scored 56 points in 49 minutes in rd 1

- Cowboys conceded the most points to FRFs in 2018

- TPJ averaged 68 vs Cowboys last year, with a PPM of 1.53

Honourable mentions: Gareth Widdop, Anthony Milford, Cameron Smith.

TOP C OPTIONS

Jake Trbojevic | $667,600

- Being an 80 minute lock with a base of around 55-60 and attacking upside, Jurbo is the safest captain in SuperCoach

- Historically, he performs better against top eight sides than he does against bottom eight sides

Andrew Fifita | $634,300

- Got through a mammoth 73 minutes in rd 1, and this was in a full strength side

- Has averaged 76 PPG in his last five games against the Titans

- In rd 1, the Titans conceded points to FRFs at a PPM of 1.19 – the worst in the competition

James Tedesco | $689,000

- Has scored three 100s in his last five games against the Sea Eagles, scoring at an average of 100.4 PPG over this period

- Despite scoring only 23 in rd 1, Teddy simply doesn’t have two bad games in a row. Last season, he scored under 40 points twice, and registered hauls of 113 and 70 after these low scores

- All those people trading Teddy out are fools

Honourable mentions: Shaun Johnson, Kalyn Ponga, Jason Taumalolo

TOP POD OPTIONS

Matt Moylan | $483,500

- Moylan has looked back to his lethal best since his move to the #1 jersey

- In rd 2, he faces the Titans, who conceded the most points to FLBs last year

- When playing at #1, Moylan has a 3RA of 93 vs Titans

Clint Gutherson | $439,300

- Running the ball 26 times in rd 1, Gutho made the equal most hit ups in the competition.

- He was involved in pretty much all the attacking play for the Eels, and looked extremely dangerous

- In rd 2, he faces the Bulldogs, who were absolutely shocking in rd 1

- With a career average of 60 PPG vs the Dogs, Gutho could very well dominate this week, just as RTS did against the Bulldogs in rd 1

Ryan Matterson | $521,500

- Scored 61 pure base points alone in rd 1 thanks to 18 hit ups and 35 tackles.

- With that base, any attacking stats propel him up to near 100 points

- Wests have scored over 28 points in four out of their last five games against the Warriors, so Matterson is in with a good chance to bag a try this week, just as he did against the Warriors last season.

Honourable mentions: Jahrome Hughes, Lachlan Fitzgibbon, Latrell Mitchell
