FPL Blank GW27 Preview

Gameweek 27 is almost upon us! With the FA Cup 5th Round fixtures complete, we now get the chance to preview the next round of EPL matches.

GW27 Score Predictions

CAR 1 | WAT 1

WHU 3 | FUL 2

BUR 0 | TOT 3

BOU 1 | WOL 1

NEW 2 | HUD 1

LEI 1 | CRY 1

ARS 2 | SOU 2

MUN 1 | LIV 1

Defence options

Ricardo Pereira (£5.4 – TSB 13.5%)

Given his price and scoring output, Pereira is probably one for the best value defenders in FPL. In GW27, Leicester faces Crystal Palace, who has been struggling for goals in recent months. Wilfred Zaha being suspended doesn't help Palace’s case. With his attacking potential, Pereira is one to target in FPL this week. His counterpart fullback Ben Chilwell should also be under consideration.

Jamaal Lascelles (£4.6 – TSB 3.5%)

In GW27, he faces the worst attacking side in the league. Moreover, when Newcastle keeps a clean sheet, Lascelles is always up near the top of the BPS. Given his aerial threat from set pieces, he also has goal scoring potential.

Sead Kolasinac (£5.1 – TSB 6.9%)

Although Arsenal don’t keep as many clean sheets as expected, Kolasinac keeps the points ticking over with his attacking returns and bonus points. In GW26, he was unlucky not to get 12 points, after he scored a own goal which blew Arsenal’s clean sheet.

Midfield Options

Heung-Min Son (£9.0 – TSB 26.0%)

Those who jumped on Son early have definitely reaped the rewards, and he is increasingly becoming an FPL must own. Having only blanked ONCE in the past 13 GWs, Son is an FPL beast.

Felipe Anderson (£7.2 – TSB 16.4%)

This week, West Ham faces Fulham, who are the worst defensive team in the league. After playing Manchester City in GW28, West Ham has a kind run of fixtures and play during the major BGW31. Despite excellent performances recently, he has been unlucky not to come away with the FPL points, and luck may be about to swing in his favour. Sadio Mané (£9.6 – TSB 21.8%)

Having returned FPL hauls in the last four GWS, the Liverpool attacker is in fine form. With Liverpool not having any blanks this season, it may be worth transferring Mané in now.

Forward Options

Alexandre Lacazette (£9.5 – 10.6%)

Facing an inconsistent Southampton side at the Emirates this GW, Laca is a top option. He has had returns in three out of his last four matches, and didn’t play in the Europa League this week, suggested he will start against the Saints.

Marko Arnautovic (£6.8 – TSB 6.9%)

Coming up against the worst defence in the league, Arnie should to the West Ham starting side this weekend and add plenty of fire to their attack. With the right kind of service, he can produce plenty of points. It is also worth noting that his price has dropped, and he could be an option for those wanting to break the template .

Punt Options

Solomon Rondón (£5.8 – TSB 4.9%)

The Magpies Striker is one of the most prolific shooter in the competition, and is one to look out for as he faces a good run of fixtures before GW31. The signing of the attacking midfielder Miguel Almirón may increase the attacking returns of Rondón.
